Still and all, I left with more friends than I came with so I've restored a few pages.
The Guide for newbies and the draft version, along with some of the BMW stuff by MattM.
So the question has come up:

Corner-Carvers is a site built solely for the community and now (hopefully) 'by the community.''
Our members (that's you) are the greatest source of technical knowledge ever assembled on the Internet.
It is impossible for the administration to write down 1/10th of the information that our members know.
This wiki page is the place where you can contribute your part.
What do you want to see on this site?
Some possibilities include pages of links with comments, tips and tricks for tracks or wrenching, HOW TOs, stories, and reviews of products or services.
